The Indian Air Force (IAF) has categorically rejected reports circulated by Chinese state media and Pakistani state-run outlets, which claimed that Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder jets destroyed India’s S-400 air defence system in Adampur, Punjab.
The misinformation, initially reported by Pakistan’s PTV News and amplified by China’s Global Times and Xinhua News Agency, alleged that Pakistan used hypersonic missiles to strike the Russian-made S-400 system, valued at around $1.5 billion.
Check out the fake report by Chinese media:

The IAF has termed the report as “fake”, adding that no such incident involving an S-400 system has occurred. The Indian defence establishment has not issued any further details, but officials dismissed the claims as propaganda-driven disinformation.
The fabricated narrative has been widely circulated online even as no independent or official confirmation supports the claim. The IAF has urged the public and media to rely on verified sources.
