The Chinese Army has been building permanent concrete structures near the Line of Actual Control, amidst the current military standoff with India, but the structure would allow the troops to access the disputed areas with India in a very short time.

The camps were up a few kilometers inside of the Chinese territory opposite the Naku La area in the North Sikkim area, which was barely a few distances away from the area where the two troops last clashed in the previous year when the confrontation started and in January this year as well.

The Chinese were building permanent concrete structures which would allow them to deploy troops near the frontline areas and the road was good as well, which helped them to reach the border areas with India more easily than before.

In eastern Ladakh as well, such warm modern buildings were observed and as well as in the Arunachal Sector. These buildings would also help the Chinese Army to address the issue of their soldiers’ discomfort during the winters.

The deployment of the Chinese troops in eastern Ladakh during extreme winters was highly uncomfortable which forced them to rotate 90 percent of their manpower from there.

Chinese intent could be seen from the building of permanent structures in the border areas showed that they were willing to stay in forwarding locations for a long time.

Under their service, they had disengaged from the Pangong lake area and had sent the troops back to the Rutog town in Tibet. They were also building infrastructures.

There had been a standoff between India and China since the previous year after the Chinese aggressively moved into the Indian areas and had violent face-offs with Indian security forces.

The two sides fought in the Galwan valley which led to the deaths of many Chinese and Indian soldiers, India had declared that they lost 20 troops in the clash and the Chinese did not declare any deaths of their soldiers as of now.

India and China had many rounds of conversations, however, there had been no outcome.

The Chinese also dragged their feet for resolving the issues at the friction points and were reluctant in committing to resolving the pending issues.
