Today noon, An Indian Air Force helicopter carrying CDS Bipin Rawat and 13 others (army personnel), crashed near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu. Minister of Defence of India, Rajnath Singh, Tamil Nadu CM and Air Force Chief are closely monitoring situation.
Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai also talked about this incident, he said, “Saddened to hear that the IAF chopper carrying CDS General Bipin Rawat crashed. I am trying to gather more information on the incident. As per preliminary information, he has been taken to hospital for treatment,”
