Gold Price Today: The price of 24-carat gold increased by ₹10 in early trade on Tuesday, with ten grams trading at ₹1,13,080, according to the GoodReturns website. Silver also registered an uptick, rising ₹100 to sell at ₹1,38,100 per kilogram.

In the 22-carat segment, gold rose by ₹10 to ₹1,03,660 for ten grams. City-wise, the price of ten grams of 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,13,080 in Mumbai and Kolkata, ₹1,13,230 in Delhi, and ₹1,13,790 in Chennai.

For 22-carat gold, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad quoted ₹1,03,660 for ten grams, while Chennai recorded ₹1,04,310 and Delhi ₹1,03,810. On the silver front, one kilogram was priced at ₹1,38,100 in Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai, while Chennai quoted a higher ₹1,48,100.

On the international market, US gold prices climbed to record levels on Tuesday. Spot gold was up 0.2 per cent at $3,752.43 per ounce at 0123 GMT, after hitting an all-time high of $3,758.03 earlier in the session. US gold futures for December delivery gained 0.3 per cent to $3,787.60. The movement was supported by expectations of further US rate cuts and a weaker dollar, with investors awaiting Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell’s policy remarks.
