
HDFC Bank reported healthy business momentum for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1FY26), with both advances and deposits witnessing robust year-on-year (YoY) growth.
According to its exchange filing, average advances under management stood at ₹27.42 lakh crore for the June quarter, up 8.3% YoY and 1.7% QoQ. Period-end advances grew 8.0% YoY to ₹27.82 lakh crore.
The bank’s gross advances (excluding inter-bank participation) came in at ₹26.53 lakh crore as of June-end, showing 6.7% YoY growth.
On the liabilities side, average deposits were ₹26.58 lakh crore, up 16.4% YoY and 5.1% QoQ, while period-end deposits reached ₹27.64 lakh crore, growing 16.2% YoY and 1.8% QoQ.
CASA Trends

Average CASA deposits rose 6.1% YoY to ₹8.6 lakh crore.

Period-end CASA stood at ₹9.37 lakh crore, up 8.5% YoY, but down 0.8% QoQ.

Time deposits continued to lead, with average balances growing 22.1% YoY to ₹17.98 lakh crore.
Strategic Initiatives
During the quarter, HDFC Bank securitised or assigned loans worth ₹3,300 crore as part of its strategy to optimize its balance sheet.
The results are subject to a limited review by the statutory auditors.
