As uncertainty surrounds Jet Airways’ relaunch, many of its pilots and senior officials are alleged to have left, according to media sources.

According to reports citing sources, top executives who have purportedly left include human resources and engineering department heads. According to sources, Jet Airways vice president (in-flight services) Mark Turner has been placed on unpaid leave.

According to reports citing sources, Jet Airways briefly reduced the salary of a segment of its workforce in November and also sent many on unpaid leave.

All of this happened after the Jalan-Kalrock consortium notified the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) last month that paying an additional Rs 200 crore to clear staff provident fund and gratuity dues wasn’t part of its original resolution plan, which was approved by the NCLT in 2021.
