An Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner, operating as flight AI 171 from Ahmedabad to London, has crashed near the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The State Police Control Room confirmed the incident, as reported by ANI.

The crash occurred in the Meghani Nagar area, close to the airport boundary. Eyewitnesses reported a loud explosion followed by flames and a column of thick black smoke. Emergency services, including fire brigades and ambulances, were immediately deployed to the site.
