The Yamaha Tenere 700 continues to remain one of the most popular and affordable adventure bikes, and the newly unveiled 2025 model brings a host of updates while retaining its classic appeal.
The 2025 Tenere 700 features subtle design modifications, including a refined quad-LED headlight with rectangular projectors inspired by Yamaha’s rally bikes. Additionally, the fuel tank has been repositioned forward, equipped with a flush fuel cap that enhances the bike’s streamlined look and improves weight distribution for better handling.
Under the bodywork, the 2025 Tenere 700 continues to house the reliable CP2 689cc parallel-twin engine, producing a commendable 72 bhp and 67 Nm of torque. This powerplant remains a favourite among adventure enthusiasts for its responsiveness and performance.
The CP2 689cc parallel-twin mill, however, remains unchanged, producing 72 horsepower and 67 Nm. However, like the 2025 Yamaha MT-07, the Tenere 700 receives ride-by-wire technology, resulting in two ride modes: Sport and Explorer. The new model also includes traction control and three-level ABS, which can be easily adjusted through the 6.5-inch TFT display.
