Volkswagen India is now providing huge discounts and benefits for its Taigun midsize SUV, Virtus midsize sedan and Tiguan SUV models. Cash discounts, exchange and loyalty bonuses are all included in the benefits. Discounts on the Taigun are much larger than they were last month.
Some dealers still have MY2023 stock of the German brand’s competitor against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara and the forthcoming Tata Curvv and Citroen Basalt. These vehicles are only offered with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and manual transmission and they receive a total discount of up to Rs 2.28 lakh.
Regarding the MY2024 models, VW is providing discounts of up to Rs 1.87 lakh for the 1.5 TSI models and discounts of up to Rs 1.2 lakh for the 1.0-litre TSI variants, depending on the model. The ex-showroom pricing of the entry-level Taigun has dropped from Rs 11.70 lakh to Rs 10.90 lakh with the cash discount.
