Volkswagen recently stated that it will provide service and maintenance support to its customers in the Indian states hit by floods. Volkswagen is offering complimentary roadside assistance to customers in Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Kerala and Himachal Pradesh.
Also, the company will provide customers with a comprehensive service inspection of their vehicles to ensure that flood-related damages are repaired on time. The automaker issued the necessary standard repair guidelines to all of its dealerships and it will provide enough service assistance for short turnaround times, according to a statement.
Furthermore, Volkswagen announced that in the case of a total loss of a vehicle following the floods, it will support customers with help through its certified pre-owned sales outlets.
Volkswagen is the only car manufacturer to yet offer customer support, but we expect that other manufacturers will do the same soon.
