Vinfast started testing cars in India just a few months after having a groundbreaking ceremony for a new facility in Tamil Nadu.
The VF e34 is the smallest vehicle in the manufacturer’s lineup and is now on sale in Vietnam and Indonesia. It is powered by a 110kW battery pack and has a claimed range of 318 kilometres and a 0-100km/h time of under nine seconds. Most noteworthy, it is 4.3 meters long with a 2.6-meter wheelbase, making it comparable in size to the Kia Seltos/Hyundai Creta/Maruti Grand Vitara/Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder/Honda Elevate and the MG Astor.
The interior of the cabin is entirely grey, including chrome inserts and two huge, vertical digital displays. Its feature list includes all the standard comforts one would anticipate, like temperature control, dual USB charging ports, Highline TPMS, connected car technology, 360-degree camera and level-2 ADAS. The feature list appears to be decent and lacking nothing at first glance.
The e34 was recently spotted in India, confirming that it would be joining Vinfast’s lineup in this country. It will compete with vehicles like the MG ZS EV, Maruti eVX, Kia Carens EV, Mahindra XUV e8, Honda Elevate EV and the production version of the Toyota Urban Sport Concept.
