Ultraviolette, the Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer, has announced an ambitious expansion into multiple two-wheeler segments over the next two years. Under its Strategic Product Expansion Plan, the company aims to introduce new EVs focused on performance, futuristic design, and cutting-edge technology.
With extensive research and development, Ultraviolette is set to leverage its expertise in battery technology, powertrains, and safety systems. This approach will enable the company to introduce a diverse lineup of electric two-wheelers while maintaining its reputation for high-performance engineering.
CEO and Co-Founder Narayan Subramaniam emphasized the importance of R&D in driving innovation. By integrating advanced technologies, Ultraviolette aims to accelerate the development of its upcoming models, making premium EV technology more accessible to a wider audience.
The company has already signaled its expansion plans with a new design patent for an electric motorcycle based on Concept X. This new model will share its underpinnings with the F77, featuring an upside-down fork, monoshock suspension, and dual-disc brakes with a dual-channel ABS system. The battery pack will remain fixed in a configuration similar to an internal combustion engine motorcycle.
While exact specifications are yet to be confirmed, 17-inch tubeless tyres are expected, retaining the aggressive and aerodynamic design language seen on the Ultraviolette F77.
