TVS Motor Company recently launched the new iQube Celebration Edition to celebrate India’s 78th Independence Day. The 3.4 kWh and iQube S versions of the TVS iQube Celebration Edition are priced at ₹1.20 lakh and ₹1.29 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Bookings for the limited edition offering will start on August 15, 2024, with production limited to 1,000 units on either model.
The unique dual-tone paint scheme for the iQube Celebration Edition is finished in black and copper brown. The electric scooter’s colour scheme is enhanced with eye-catching decals and special edition badging, featuring the #CelebrationEdition decal on the front apron.
Under its new paintwork, the TVS iQube stays the same. The 3 kW electric motor, which has a maximum output of 4.4 kW (5.9 bhp), provides the power. The iQube S and 3.4 kWh models both offer a 100 km range on a single charge and have a maximum speed of 78 kmph. The 650-watt charger that comes with the e-scooter can fully charge the battery in 4 hours and 30 minutes, from 0% to 100%.
The TVS iQube faces competition from a wide range of electric scooters, such as the Ampere Nexus, Vida V1, Ather Rizta, Ola S1 Pro and Bajaj Chetak.
