TVS Motor Company has taken another major step in its international journey with the launch of the TVS Apache RTR 180 in Kenya. The company has partnered with its long-time African distributor, Car & General, to introduce the iconic Apache brand to Kenyan riders. This launch marks a significant milestone as TVS brings two decades of racing-inspired engineering and global credibility to one of Africa’s most vibrant two-wheeler markets.

With more than 6.5 million Apache riders across over 60 countries, the series has grown into a true global phenomenon. Its arrival in Kenya signals an exciting new chapter for the country’s biking community, offering a fresh mix of performance, style, and innovation to a fast-growing base of enthusiasts.

The TVS Apache RTR 180 is built on TVS Motor’s 43 years of racing heritage and brings a blend of power and precision that defines the Apache brand. It is equipped with a 177.4cc high-performance engine that delivers 15.22 PS at 8,500 RPM and 14.1 Nm of torque at 6,500 RPM. The motorcycle features disc brakes, adjustable race-tuned suspension, a 5-speed gearbox, a beast-inspired LED headlamp, tubeless tyres, and a wider rear tyre, making it a strong contender in its segment.

The Kenya launch closely follows TVS Motor’s impressive showcase at EICMA, reinforcing the company’s ambition to expand deeper across global markets. With the Apache series completing 20 years this year, TVS Motor is celebrating a legacy that has evolved into a powerful community of performance bike lovers worldwide.

The Apache RTR 180 will be available through 12 Car & General dealerships in Kenya, priced at KES 269,990. Customers can choose from four striking colours: Pearl White, Matte Blue, Gloss Black and Matte Grey.
