Triumph Motorcycles has revealed its latest offerings, the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X, as part of its collaboration with Bajaj Auto. These motorcycles will be manufactured by Bajaj Auto in India.
The Speed 400 takes design cues from the Speed Twin 900, while the Scrambler 400 X draws inspiration from the Scrambler 900.
Both bikes feature a new TR-series engine—a 398cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder with DOHC architecture. The power output stands at 40hp at 8000rpm and 37.5Nm of torque at 6500rpm, positioning the Triumph models close to KTM’s 390 lineup in terms of power and torque.
Notable features include LED lighting, ride-by-wire, switchable traction control, dual-channel ABS, and semi-digital instrumentation.
The official launch and pricing details will be announced on July 5, with the Speed 400 expected to start around Rs 300,000 (ex-showroom).
