Triumph Motorcycles is celebrating an important milestone for the Triumph Speed 400 and Triumph Scrambler 400X, its first foray into the mid-range motorcycle market. Introduced in June 2023 in partnership with the powerful Bajaj Auto of India, these motorcycles have shown remarkable sales numbers, surpassing the 50,000-unit mark in less than a year. This accomplishment involves 50 nations, including Japan, the UK, the USA and India.
Triumph is giving both bikes a special ₹10,000 discount to celebrate the one anniversary of these popular models till July 31, 2024. As a result, the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X now have ex-showroom prices of just ₹2.24 lakh and ₹2.54 lakh, respectively, making them even more competitive.
Both bikes are built on the same 398cc single-cylinder engine, which generates about 40 bhp and 38 Nm of torque, but they are designed to suit different riding styles.
Perfect for street riding, the Speed 400 has a modern-retro roadster appearance. The Scrambler 400X, on the other hand, is set up for both on-road and short off-road trips due to its bigger wheels, longer travel suspension and block pattern tyres.
Two well-known brands in the motorcycle market, Triumph Motorcycles and Bajaj Auto, collaborated to produce the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X. Positive outcomes have come from this partnership with sales figures increasing to 50,000 units across 50 countries within the first year.
