Automaker Toyota Kirloskar Motor announced on Thursday its intention to raise prices on select vehicles by up to 1 percent, effective April 1. The decision comes in response to mounting input costs and operational expenses, the company stated.
“Increasing prices on certain grades of specific models, slated for April 1, 2024, is a strategic measure to address the surge in input costs and operational expenditures,” Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) explained.
TKM offers a diverse range of vehicles, including the hatchback Glanza and the premium SUV Fortuner, with prices ranging from Rs 6.86 lakh to Rs 51.44 lakh.
