Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has opened its first company-owned Toyota Used Car Outlet (TUCO) in New Delhi, the second such facility in India under the “Toyota U-Trust” brand. Other than Toyota, other major automakers like Maruti Suzuki and Mahindra run their authorised pre-owned acar dealerships in the nation.
With this initiative, the company hopes to give clients ‘high-quality, safe used cars and peace of mind’ throughout the buying and selling process, as it said on Friday. Furthermore, Toyota has opened a new outlet that is an astounding 15,000 square feet and has enough to display more than 20 Toyota-certified vehicles.
Toyota also stated that every vehicle at TUCO, a dedicated retail touchpoint for both purchasing and selling Toyota vehicles, goes through a strict 203-point inspection based on global Toyota standards. Documentation, service history, safety, structural integrity and performance tests are all included in this.
As per timesnownews, Takashi Takamiya, Vice President of Toyota Kirloskar Motor, explained the company’s increasing emphasis on the used car market, saying, “Used car business is a key pillar of Toyota’s overall business and growth strategy here in India which is also closely aligning with our vision of ‘Mobility for All’. Therefore, the expansion of TUCO with the inauguration of our first used car outlet in New Delhi exemplifies our dedication to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Above all, this new outlet upholds the standards synonymous with Toyota products and our benchmark service experience.”
