The bZ3C and bZ3X, Toyota’s two new electric cars, made their debut at the current Beijing Auto Show in China. The first time these cars were showcased was back in 2023. But at the time, they were in concept form. The bZ3C and bZ3X, in all their production-spec splendour, represent the Japanese brand in different body type categories. The bZ3C leans toward a sport crossover design, but the bZ3X appears to be inspired by the bZ FlexSpace concept.

Although these cars are featured in the production-spec version, the Japanese automaker has not disclosed any information about them. However, the company is expected to put these automobiles on sale in China within the next year. This is because both models were designed to represent the brand in the country’s expanding EV market.

As of yet, just a few details about the vehicle are known. According to the brand, Toyota built the bZ3C in partnership with Chinese electric car maker BYD, FAW, and Toyota’s Intelligent ElctroMobility R&D Centre. The EV’s design is comparable to the bZ4X and Prius sold in the global market. The design appears to have progressed with the new name, though, with new LED daytime running lights and tail lights that appear to cover the entire width in a single array of lights.

The bZ3C’s interior has a simple layout with the big central infotainment system taking center stage. It must be noted that the majority of modern electric cars, including Tesla models, have an interior that is designed to be as simple as possible.
