Auto major Tata Motors posted a robust growth in its total sales for the month of April, better than market expectations. Tata Motors’ total April sales grew 11.4% on a YoY basis to 77,521 units against 69,599 units in the same period last year (April 2023). The company’s total domestic sales for the month of April came in at 76,399 units, a growth of 12% on a YoY basis from 68,514 units in April 2o23.
Tata Motors‘ total domestic sale of MH&ICV in April 2024, including trucks and buses, stood at 12,722 units, compared to 8,985 units in April 2023. Total sales for MH&ICV Domestic & International Business in April 2024, including trucks and buses, stood at 13,218 units compared to 9,515 units in April 2023.
The company’s overall Commercial Vehicle sales stood at 29,538 units vs 22,492 units in April 2023, a jump of 31%. Passenger Vehicle domestic sales in April, including EV sales, stood at 47,983 units against 47,107 YoY.
