With some interesting new additions that are sure to draw notice, Tata Motors is all set to expand its Nexon lineup. Tata has now launched a CNG version of its well-liked subcompact SUV, the Nexon, in the Indian market following a recent facelift. The starting price of the Tata Nexon iCNG, ex-showroom, is ₹ 8.99 lakh.
Not only that, but the upgraded Nexon will also have changes to the Dark and EV versions. For the Nexon EV, the firm introduced upgrades that increase range. The Red Dark Edition is an extension of the current Dark variants.
All new Tata Nexon iCNG features
The Nexon iCNG maintains the existing 1.2L turbo-petrol engine, which now produces 100 horsepower and 170 Nm of maximum torque. It will be mated with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Furthermore, the compact SUV uses Tata Motors’ dual-cylinder technology, resulting in a practical 321-litre cargo capacity. As with the Punch iCNG, the spare has been moved beneath the body. The SUV also comes with a strong safety set, including 6 airbags, ESP and other features as standard across the range. With the launch of CNG versions, the Nexon gets a huge panoramic sunroof and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster with a navigation system.
