The Nexon CNG Dark comes with a completely black appearance, including the paint job, metallic accents, and alloy wheels. The inside also has a blacked-out motif, creating a sleek and cutting-edge appearance.
The Tata Nexon CNG Dark comes in the higher-end variants: Creative + S, Creative + PS, and Fearless + PS. The Creative + S and Creative + PS variants are priced Rs 40,000 more than their standard counterparts, while the Fearless + PS is priced Rs 20,000 higher. Despite the cosmetic upgrades, the features list remains identical to the standard variants.
Under the hood, the Nexon CNG Dark is powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged engine, producing 100hp and 170Nm of peak torque when running on CNG. Unlike other Tata CNG models like the Tiago and Tigor, which offer an AMT gearbox, the Nexon CNG is available only with a 6-speed manual transmission.
