Tata Motors has unveiled the new Altroz Racer in India, with pricing starting at Rs. 9.49 lakh to Rs. 10.99 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). Based on the Altroz turbo petrol, the new Tata Altroz Racer is a more performance-oriented model that gets sporty upgrades to further enhance its appeal.
Tata Altroz Racer Features
The Tata Altroz Racer’s new 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine, which it borrowed from the Tata Nexon, is its biggest change. The motor only comes with a 6-speed manual transmission, but it delivers 118 bhp and 170 Nm of maximum torque.
The blacked-out roof and bonnet of the Tata Altroz Racer, which has a dual-tone paint scheme, are aesthetic upgrades. The car’s top, trunk and bonnet are all painted with twin white stripes. The updated model will also have new alloy wheels for a more aggressive look and a “Racer” badge on the fender. Avenue White, Pure Grey and Atomic Orange are the three dual-tone colours that the Altroz Racer is offered in.
The inside is blacked-out with orange highlights, black leatherette upholstery with contrast stitching and twin stripes. Although the model has many features, such as an electric sunroof, a digital instrument panel, heated front seats, cruise control, a 360-degree camera and more, the dashboard stays the same.
