Tata Harrier EV is set to debut in India in March 2025, marking a significant move by Tata Motors to expand its footprint in the electric vehicle (EV) market.
Currently, Tata holds a dominant 85% market share in India’s electric car sector with models like the Nexon EV, Tiago EV, and Tigor EV. The Harrier EV will be the latest addition to this lineup, offering a design closely resembling its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart. However, as an electric vehicle, it will feature some distinctive changes, including a closed radiator grille, updated alloy wheels, and revised bumpers.
The Tata Harrier EV is expected to maintain the bold and rugged design of the Harrier’s internal combustion engine (ICE) version. While the overall silhouette will remain similar to the ICE-powered Harrier, the Harrier EV will feature design updates such as a closed panel replacing the traditional radiator grille. Additionally, the electric version will sport a new set of alloy wheels, updated front and rear bumpers and a more streamlined rear without the exhaust muzzle.
Inside, the Harrier EV will receive a fresh design language that differentiates it from the ICE version. The cabin will be equipped with a large touchscreen infotainment system, a contemporary steering wheel with a backlit panel and the Tata logo, and premium features such as automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and an air purifier. Other notable additions include a 360-degree surround-view camera for enhanced safety and convenience.
