The next major release from the domestic manufacturer is the Tata Curvv EV, which is important as it will be joining a brand-new market category known as Coupe SUVs. The Tata Curvv EV is now making its way to authorized dealerships in advance of its scheduled August 7th launch.

Tata’s new active.ev platform, which debuted with the Punch EV, will serve as the basis for the Curvv EV. The engine, chassis, electrical architecture and cloud architecture are the four layers that make up this platform.

The Tata Curvv EV is expected to have a 500 km claimed range. It is anticipated to come with two different power pack options. Among the features that the Curvv EV will include are DC charging, driving modes, brake regeneration and Vehicle to Load functionality.

The Tata Curvv is expected to have many voice assistants, an electric tailgate with gesture activation, an Arcade.ev suite, an automated temperature management system, a touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. Among other things, there would be an illuminated Tata logo, wireless charging and automated headlights and wipers.

There would be ventilated seats, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat with six settings and a co-driver seat in the interior. The back seat would recline in two steps and have a centre console. Tata will also provide paddle shifters to control the regeneration level.
