While Tata Motors prepares to launch its first compact SUV, the Curvv, details regarding its features and engine have emerged before its official debut on August 7. The Curvv is the company’s first compact SUV. The Curvv coupe-SUV has received a lot of attention and on August 7, 2024, the electric variant, the Curvv EV, is scheduled to be launched. Tata Motors will afterwards shortly introduce an internal combustion engine (ICE) variant.

Tata Motors has unveiled the production version of the Tata Curvv, which focuses primarily on its exterior design. New leaks offer details about the Curvv coupe-SUV’s engine options and features. According to leaked information, the Curvv ICE will be available with three engine options: a 1.2-litre petrol motor, a 1.2-litre turbo petrol mill and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Gearbox choices for these engines will include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DCT).

These engines are expected to produce torque between 170 Nm and 260 Nm and power between 113 and 123 kw. The Curvv ICE will also have three driving modes: Eco, City and Sport, just like many other Tata vehicles.

Features of the Curvv ICE and Curvv EV include ambient lighting, a 4-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, automatic temperature control, a powered tailgate with gesture control, a wireless charger, an air purifier, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster (both made by Harman), a 9-speaker JBL music system and voice-assisted panoramic sunroof.
