Suzuki Motorcycle India has recently announced that its flagship scooter, the Access 125, has achieved a major milestone by crossing 6 million units in production. Launched in 2006, the Access 125 was the first 125cc scooter in India, setting the stage for a booming segment that now includes numerous competitors.
The Suzuki Access 125 features a 4-stroke, single-cylinder, 124cc engine that delivers an impressive 8.5 hp and 10 Nm of peak torque. The fuel-injected engine offers both kick start and electric start options, with a CVT transmission for smooth and efficient power delivery. This scooter is available in four variants, with prices ranging from Rs 85,601 to Rs 91,800 (ex-showroom).
Designed for comfort and practicality, the Access 125 boasts a seat height of 773 mm and a ground clearance of 160 mm, making it suitable for various Indian road conditions. With a fuel tank capacity of 5 litres, it promises a fuel efficiency of 45 km/l as per ARAI standards.
Weighing just 103 kg, it is easy to maneuver and perfect for daily commuting. The scooter also offers a spacious 22.3 litres of under-seat storage, catering to the needs of urban riders.
