SML Isuzu Limited has reported a robust 43.2% year-on-year increase in total vehicle sales for April 2025, selling 1,512 units compared to 1,056 units in the same month last year. The growth was driven by a sharp surge in cargo vehicle demand and consistent performance in the passenger vehicle segment.

Cargo vehicle sales stood at 389 units in April 2025, registering an impressive 77.6% jump from 219 units sold in April 2024. Meanwhile, passenger vehicle sales rose 34.2% to 1,123 units, up from 837 units in the year-ago period.

The strong start to FY26 highlights rising demand in the commercial vehicle market and reflects SML Isuzu’s strengthened product positioning across key segments. The company is expected to maintain this momentum as infrastructure spending and logistics activity continue to pick up.
