Skoda has recently teased the Elroq, its forthcoming all-electric SUV, for global markets before its world debut on October 1. The latest teaser reveals the design of the forthcoming EV, which will be based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform. The firm has teased the vehicle several times before, showcasing its design through sketches.
The teaser showcases the Elroq’s segmented DRLs, which are part of a lightbar that, as shown in the design sketch, spans the whole width of the front end of the vehicle. Boomerang-style headlights, distinguished from the DRLs by body paint, will be located beneath the DRLs. Additionally, the SUV will have a closed-off, blacked-out grille.

Skoda has already disclosed that there would be four engine options available for its next electric vehicle. The Elroq 50, with its 125 kW (168 bhp) electric powertrain and 55 kWh battery pack, will lead the range. Next is the Elroq 60, which has a bigger 63 kWh battery pack and a more powerful electric motor rated at 150 kW (201 bhp). With an 82 kWh battery pack, the 85 and 85x will be at the top of the lineup. The 85 has a single-motor setup that can produce up to 210 kW (282 bhp).
