Skoda India’s third-generation Superb, reintroduced in April 2023, is currently available at substantial discounts in select cities. Initially priced at Rs 54 lakh (ex-showroom), Skoda had imported only 100 units of this model for the Indian market. While the company claims the model has sold out, a few unsold units are still available at multi-brand dealerships, offering discounts ranging from Rs 15-18 lakh, as reported by Autocar India.
With the ongoing price cut, the cost of a fully imported Skoda Superb drops to approximately Rs 36 lakh (ex-showroom), making it comparable to the previously locally assembled version that was discontinued in April 2023. Notably, the imported model comes with enhanced features like Skoda’s Dynamic Chassis Control, nine airbags, active tyre pressure monitoring, and the larger 9-inch Columbus infotainment system, none of which were available in the locally assembled model.
However, prospective buyers should note that the imported Superb was manufactured in 2023, meaning it will be considered two years old by 2025. Despite this, the car’s added features and attractive pricing make it a good deal.
Only 20-25 units of the third-gen Superb remain available with these benefits across India, so if you’re in the market for a luxury sedan, this is a limited-time opportunity you shouldn’t miss.
