Skoda Kylaq features
The Kylaq faces stiff competition from rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Hyundai Venue. Unlike competitors offering petrol, diesel, CNG, and electric variants, the Kylaq features a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 113 bhp and 179 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.
Designed with Skoda’s Modern Solid philosophy, the Kylaq sports split LED headlamps, an electric sunroof, and LED taillights. Inside, it offers six-way electric ventilated seats, a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and an 8-inch Virtual Cockpit. Boot space stands at 446 litres, expandable to 1,265 litres. Safety is prioritized with 25 active and passive features, including six airbags, ESC, and multi-collision brakes.
Skoda claims the Kylaq has undergone rigorous testing over 8,00,000 km, ensuring durability and reliability. As the most affordable SUV in Skoda’s lineup, the Kylaq is poised to make a significant impact in the Indian subcompact SUV market.
