The much-anticipated fourth-generation Skoda Superb is set to make its debut in India in 2025. Skoda India Brand Director Petr Janeba confirmed the development during the global unveiling of the all-new Kylaq subcompact SUV. This new Superb is a significant evolution of the previous model, with a larger size and enhanced technology.

The design of the new Superb retains an evolutionary approach, featuring a bold Skoda butterfly grille, sleek sweptback headlamps, and a full-width air vent on the bumper. The rear also takes inspiration from the third-gen model with an upgraded look. Inside, the new Superb stands out with a minimalist dashboard design. It boasts a 13-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system that integrates most cabin controls, along with a 10-inch ‘Virtual Cockpit’ digital instrument display.

Regarding the engine, the new Superb is available in global markets with a variety of petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid powertrain options. However, the car might come in India with the well-known 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine, most likely with mild hybrid technology. One possible standard feature would be a 7-speed DSG transmission.
