Royal Enfield has officially unveiled the much-anticipated Classic 650, a stylish new addition to their lineup. This model brings an exciting upgrade to the well-loved Classic 350 with a more powerful engine and some modern touches.
Royal Enfield Classic 650 features
The Classic 650 embraces the timeless Royal Enfield aesthetic. It boasts a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, classic spoked rims and a neutral riding triangle designed for comfort. All of the lighting parts are circular and the primary headlight is an LED unit. The motorbike would come with a single seat with the option of a pillion seat.
The Classic 650 is powered by a robust 647cc air-oil cooled engine with a 270-degree firing order, delivering smooth performance. It produces an impressive 46.39 bhp at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm of peak torque at 5,650 rpm. A six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch is in use.
Both ends have disc brakes to perform braking duties. The bike is equipped with MRF Nylohigh tyres and rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, just like the Classic 350. The motorcycle’s seat height is 800 mm, and it has 154 mm of ground clearance. It is the heaviest bike in Royal Enfield’s lineup, weighing 243 kg.
