Royal Enfield, the motorcycle arm of Eicher Motors, clocked an impressive performance in August 2025, selling 1,14,002 motorcycles – a solid 55% jump compared to 73,629 units in the same month last year.

Out of the total, domestic sales stood at 1,02,876 units, up 57% year-on-year, while exports rose 39% to 11,126 units, showcasing the brand’s strong presence not just in India but across global markets as well.

Looking at the April–August 2025 period, Royal Enfield sold 4,67,575 motorcycles, reflecting a 27% growth over the 3,67,801 units sold during the same period in the previous year. Exports in this period saw a particularly strong surge, rising 64% to 59,666 units.

In terms of segments, the brand’s upto 350cc models led the way with sales of 98,631 units in August, marking a 61% rise. Motorcycles with engine capacity above 350cc also saw healthy demand with 15,371 units sold, up 23%.

Commenting on the performance, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director, Eicher Motors Ltd. and CEO, Royal Enfield, said that the momentum reflects positive festive season demand and strong international traction. He also highlighted the excitement around new models like the Hunter 350 and Guerrilla 450, along with upcoming community events such as Motoverse and Art of Motorcycling in November 2025.
