The Interceptor Bear 650, a scrambler based on the Interceptor 650 roadster, is undoubtedly one of Royal Enfield’s next releases. And, just weeks before the official launch at EICMA 2024, the motorbike has been entirely revealed, with all of the features, in what appears to be a company presentation. The motorbike looks fantastic and is devoted to the scrambler design. It will now feature the same 648 cc parallel-twin engine, which is oil/air cooled, and is expected to produce 47 horsepower and 52.3 Nm.

The Bear 650 will have a two-in-one exhaust system in place of the dual exhausts seen on the Interceptor 650, and the engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox. To provide more torque at the bottom end and mid-range, RE is likely to modify the gearbox’s ratios.

The image also shows that the motorbike has a circular instrument console, which may or may not be a TFT depending on the model. It is expected that it will also have switchable ABS, like the Himalayan 450.

It is anticipated that Royal Enfield would price it between ₹3.4 and ₹3.5 lakh (ex-showroom), which puts it above the Interceptor and Continental GT 650.
