Nearly a year after its launch, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has now received tubeless spoked rims. These are optional additions that will cost you Rs 11,000.

During the launch of the Himalayan Royal Enfield revealed that the ADV will soon receive tubeless spoke wheels. While they were available on motorcycles exported from India, they were not available on bikes sold in the country due to BIS certification.

Tubes for the Himalayan tyres are also more difficult to find due to the tyre diameters, complicating the process of repairing a puncture. This decision will undoubtedly be appreciated by owners who have struggled to repair punctures and have had to rely on third-party solutions.

However, keep in mind that the Rs 11,000 sticker price only applies if you use the MIY configurator to equip it on your new bike. This changes to Rs 12,424 for all if purchased through a dealership, which is available from October 3.
