Royal Enfield Bear 650 features
The Bear 650 takes inspiration from classic 1960s-1970s scramblers, sporting a stripped-down look with a focus on rugged capability. It features a fresh paint scheme, all-LED lighting, and a full-color TFT screen with navigation sourced from the Himalayan. The scrambler seat enhances the bike’s off-road-ready appearance.
The Bear 650 is powered by the same 648cc parallel-twin engine from the Interceptor 650, delivering 47 bhp at 7,150 rpm and 57 Nm of torque at 5,150 rpm. It produces an additional 5 Nm of torque over the standard Interceptor, making it well-suited for off-road riding. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch for smooth shifting.
For enhanced off-road capability, the Bear 650 features 43 mm Showa USD front forks with 130 mm of travel and twin rear shocks with 115 mm of travel. It is equipped with a 320 mm front disc brake and switchable dual-channel ABS. The bike rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear multi-spoke wheels with dual-purpose tyres, offering 184 mm of ground clearance. With a seat height of 830 mm, it is the tallest 650 model from Royal Enfield.
