Revolt Motors expands to Nepal with first dealership in Kathmandu

Revolt Motors, an Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer, has launched its operations in Nepal with the opening of its first dealership in Kathmandu on April 13, 2025. The new facility, known as the Revolt Hub, is part of the company’s regional expansion strategy and marks its entry into the Nepalese two-wheeler EV market.

The Kathmandu dealership was inaugurated by Moti Lal Dugar, Chairman of MV Dugar Group, and Sandeep Roperia, Business Head of Revolt Motors. The launch event was attended by media representatives, local influencers, and prospective customers who participated in product demonstrations and test rides.

Revolt Motors’ entry into Nepal is in partnership with MV Dugar Group, a Nepal-based automotive distributor with over 50 years of industry experience. The collaboration aims to leverage MV Dugar’s local market expertise and distribution network to expand Revolt’s presence across the country.

Product Lineup Available in Nepal

The full range of Revolt’s electric motorcycles is now available in Nepal, including:

  • RV400 – Flagship model with urban commuting features

  • RV400 BRZ – A performance-oriented version of the RV400

  • RV1+ – A mid-range model for everyday use

  • RV1 – Entry-level commuter model

  • RV BlazeX – High-performance model designed for varied terrains

All models come with removable IP67-rated battery packs, regenerative braking, reverse assist, and app-enabled connectivity.

Following the Kathmandu launch, Revolt Motors and MV Dugar Group plan to open 12 additional dealerships in cities such as Pokhara, Biratnagar, Nepalgunj, Butwal, and Dhangadhi. Each location will feature service infrastructure, EV-trained technicians, and access to genuine parts and accessories.
