Renault India has achieved a remarkable feat by surpassing the production milestone of 10 lakh units in the country. The momentous occasion was marked by the rollout of the 1 millionth model, a stunning Radiant Red-colored Kiger, from Renault’s manufacturing facility in Chennai. With an annual production capacity of 4,80,000 units, the Chennai plant played a crucial role in enabling this achievement.
Renault India currently offers three popular passenger car models in the country, namely the Kwid, Kiger, and Triber. These vehicles have garnered a significant customer base in India and have also been exported to 14 countries across various regions, including SAARC, Asia Pacific, Indian Oceanic, South Africa, and East Africa.
Expressing his delight on this significant milestone, Venkatram Mamillapalle, Country CEO and Managing Director of Renault India Operations, emphasized the brand’s unwavering commitment to the Indian market and expressed gratitude to the customers, dealer partners, employees, and stakeholders who have contributed to this remarkable journey.
