Ola Electric has officially announced the release of the MoveOS 5 beta for its electric scooters tomorrow. After a delay from its initial Diwali launch, the brand is rolling out the new operating system for its S1 range of electric scooters and upcoming electric motorcycles. MoveOS 5 is set to enhance the overall riding experience with several innovative features.
While the complete list of features is yet to be fully revealed, Ola Electric has shared some exciting updates. The new OS will introduce group navigation, live location sharing, and a specialized road trip mode powered by Ola Maps, making long-distance travel more convenient. In addition, MoveOS 5 will offer Smart Charging, Smart Park, and TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) alerts for better vehicle management.
One of the standout features is the integration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including collision warnings for added safety. The Smart Park system will assist in detecting obstacles while parking. MoveOS 5 will also include Krutrim, Ola’s AI-powered voice assistant, which provides predictive insights and allows for hands-free control.
