Ola Electric, India’s largest pure-play EV manufacturer, has launched its highly anticipated Gen 3 S1 portfolio, taking the performance and efficiency of its electric scooters to the next level. The company introduced eight new scooters across both mass and premium segments, along with the Roadster motorcycle series and MoveOS 5 software update.
Gen 3 S1 Portfolio: New Variants & Pricing
Ola Electric has expanded its product range with the Gen 3 S1 scooters, incorporating advanced technology, enhanced safety features, and improved performance. The lineup includes the flagship S1 Pro+ and multiple variants of the S1 Pro and S1 X.
- S1 Pro+ (5.3kWh and 4kWh): Priced at ₹1,69,999 and ₹1,54,999, respectively, featuring 4680 Bharat Cell for extended range and dual ABS for superior braking.
- S1 Pro (4kWh and 3kWh): Available at ₹1,34,999 and ₹1,14,999, with top speeds of 125 km/h and 117 km/h, respectively.
- S1 X series: Offers multiple configurations, starting from ₹79,999 (2kWh), ₹89,999 (3kWh), and ₹99,999 (4kWh). The S1 X+ (4kWh) is priced at ₹1,07,999.
The Gen 3 platform brings a 20% increase in peak power, 11% cost reduction, and a 20% improvement in range compared to Gen 2 models. The scooters now feature a mid-drive motor, chain drive system, and an integrated MCU (Motor Control Unit) for optimized efficiency. The dual ABS and patented brake-by-wire technology improve braking performance and energy recovery by 15%.
Ola Electric Introduces Roadster Motorcycle Series
In a major push towards electric motorcycles, Ola unveiled its Roadster series, featuring three models: Roadster X, Roadster, and Roadster Pro.
- Roadster X comes in 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh, and 4.5kWh battery variants, with prices starting at ₹74,999.
- Roadster features 3.5kWh, 4.5kWh, and 6kWh configurations, starting at ₹1,04,999.
- Roadster Pro, the high-performance variant, is equipped with 8kWh and 16kWh battery options, priced at ₹1,99,999.
The motorcycles are designed for best-in-class performance, featuring high-speed capabilities and segment-first technologies.
MoveOS 5 Update & New Features
Ola Electric has also announced the rollout of MoveOS 5 Beta from mid-February, introducing features like:

Pricing Discounts & Extended Warranty
The company continues to offer discounts of up to ₹35,000 on Gen 2 models. The Gen 3 scooters come with a 3-year/40,000 km warranty on both the scooter and battery, with an optional extended battery warranty of up to 8 years/1,25,000 km for ₹14,999.

Ola Electric has informed the stock exchanges that its board meeting is scheduled for February 3, 2025, to consider and approve the Q3 FY25 unaudited financial results, as well as discuss potential dividends and ESOP plans.
