TVS purchased Norton bikes back in 2020 and the company has been working nonstop to bring the legendary British brand back to life ever since. While the firm was bought for a low amount of 16 million pounds, TVS has since invested a total of 113 million pounds in this project and we will begin to see the results next year.
As per Autocar India, Sudarshan Venu, MD of TVS Motors said in a recent interview that Norton has a lot of exciting plans for the next years. While the firm has been selling refined and better versions of existing products that were available before the TVS acquisition, we are now on the verge of seeing the first of the completely new products produced following the TVS takeover.
Norton intends to launch six all-new motorcycles over the next three years. The first of these motorcycles will be released in 2025 and it will be on sale in India shortly after its international launch. These new models will not be based on the 650cc Atlas or Nomad, which debuted in 2018.
The MD of TVS Motor, Sudarshan Venu, said to Autocar India that the company’s design, dynamics and detail philosophy will be included in the new Norton bikes. He said that Norton will remain a premium brand.
