Nissan India has recently released the first set of teasers for the forthcoming Magnite facelift, which is expected to debut on October 4. The brand is likely to keep most of the Magnite’s current look. Minor bumper modifications are expected, as well as changes to the headlight and tail light designs. The alloy wheels have a new 6-spoke design and the grille has some minor changes from the outgoing model. It’s also likely that more colour options will be added.
It is anticipated that the modified Magnite’s interior will have more features. These can include upgraded seat upholstery, a new instrument cluster and a bigger infotainment screen. Six airbags and other safety features are likely to be included in the upcoming car.
The 1.0-litre, three-cylinder engine, available in both naturally aspirated and turbocharged models is anticipated to stay unchanged. The naturally aspirated engine produces around 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque, but the turbocharged variant delivers 99 bhp and 160 Nm of torque. For the naturally aspirated engine, an AMT will be the standard gearbox; for the turbocharged engine, a CVT automatic will be available.
