Nissan Motor India registered flat sales in December 2024, with total despatches of 2,118 units compared to 2,150 units in December 2023. The company achieved a significant milestone, surpassing 10,000 bookings for the facelifted Nissan Magnite, which was launched in October 2024.
However, Nissan’s export performance saw impressive growth, with shipments rising 72% year-on-year. The company exported 9,558 units in December 2024, up from 5,561 units in the same month last year. The Nissan Magnite, manufactured in India, is now exported to over 65 countries and is set to enter left-hand-drive markets soon.
The 2024 Magnite comes with updated features and a new pricing structure. Prices have increased by 2% after crossing the 10,000-booking milestone, with the starting price now at ₹5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated Magnite is available in six variants: Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+.
Visually, the 2024 Magnite stands out with a redesigned front bumper and an updated front grille that enhances its bold, aggressive look. The signature boomerang-style daytime running lights (DRLs) on the lower section of the bumper and upgraded bi-functional projector LED headlights with automatic functionality complete the SUV’s refreshed design.
