The German luxury automaker BMW AG has made a bold step by releasing a tempting teaser for the forthcoming 1 Series hatchback, which is scheduled to debut in the coming months. According to HT Auto, the most recent version of the 1 Series is set to debut with several noteworthy modifications, including a high-performance model that will arrive hot off the production line.
According to the report, the 2025 BMW 1 Series will be a significantly upgraded version of the current F40 model, rather than a fully new vehicle. Internally dubbed the F70, the new ‘1’ will have its five-door body type, but with an updated silhouette that suggests new front and back bumpers, as well as unique LED daytime running lights. Previous spy pictures suggested that the car would feature sharper side skirts, a modest rear spoiler and quad exhaust tips.
The new 1 Series’ interior is expected to be as elegant as those seen in newer BMW models. Drivers may expect to see a fully digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen, as well as new seats, materials and upholstery.
The new 1 Series is expected to make a worldwide debut in July, and further information on the various versions will be given at that time.
