Citroen India is preparing to unveil the C3 and C3 Aircross Dhoni editions soon. The French carmaker recently appointed Mahendra Singh Dhoni as its brand ambassador, and the special edition vehicles will have customized decals and accessories inspired by the renowned cricketer. The Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross MS Dhoni Edition are intended to appeal to his fans around the country.
Citroen India said the Dhoni special edition will reflect the manufacturer’s brand philosophy as well as the persona of its brand ambassador, providing consumers with a unique and appealing alternative. The automaker hopes to capitalize on the cricketer’s fame, as well as the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.
Citroen also unveiled its latest campaign, “Do What Matters” with MS Dhoni, which will bring the player and his supporters together to support the Indian cricket team during the T20 World Championship. This year, Citroen “Team Dhoni” automobiles will travel to 26 locations to show their support for the Indian cricket team.
Neither car will undergo any mechanical modifications. The Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross have similar underpinnings. Both vehicles’ 1.2-liter turbo petrol engines provide power, while the base model of the C3 hatchback also has a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine.
A rearview camera, electrically adjustable ORVMs, manual air conditioning, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill hold assist, TPMS and a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system are included on both variants.
