Mini has officially launched the highly anticipated John Cooper Works (JCW) hatchback and convertible models, elevating the performance of its iconic lineup. The new Mini JCW starts at GBP 31,200 (Rs 33.91 lakh) in the UK.

At the heart of the new Mini JCW is a powerful 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, delivering an impressive 231 horsepower and 380 Nm of peak torque. This marks an increase of 27 hp and 80 Nm compared to the standard Cooper, ensuring that the JCW remains the top performer in the Mini range. The vehicle is paired with a seamless 7-speed DCT transmission, providing smooth gear shifts and responsive acceleration.
Acceleration and Top Speed
The new Mini JCW hatchback boasts remarkable acceleration, sprinting from 0 to 100 kph in just 6.1 seconds. The convertible version is not far behind, achieving the same in 6.4 seconds. With a top speed of 250 kph for the hatch and 245 kph for the convertible, these models are designed for speed lovers.
Exterior Design
The exterior of the Mini JCW is a bold statement of performance and style. Featuring a blacked-out front grille adorned with the iconic three-colour JCW logo, the hatch and convertible are instantly recognizable.
Interior Design
The cabin is equipped with JCW sports seats, upholstered in high-quality black synthetic leather with multi-coloured knitted fabric and eye-catching red stitching. Although the overall design of the interior remains the same, it now receives a unique JCW sports steering wheel.
