JSW MG Motor India plans to launch its third electric car in India on September 11. It will be named Windsor EV and will be situated between Comet EV and ZS EV. The Tata Nexon EV, Mahindra XUV400 and Tata Curvv EV are anticipated to compete with the MG Windsor EV, which the brand refers to as India’s first intelligent CUV.

MG Windsor EV features

Several features, including LED lighting elements, Daytime Running Lamps and lightbars at the front and back, have been confirmed for the forthcoming Windsor EV. For better aerodynamics, the door handles will be flush with the bodywork.

The cabin will feature a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, black upholstery, a two-spoke steering wheel with many functions and a 135-degree recline feature. Other features include a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

A 50.6 kWh LFP battery pack is expected to be included with the MG Windsor EV, offering a range of about 460 km on a single charge.  The model will include fast charging, allowing the EV to be charged from 30 to 100 percent in 30 minutes. The Windsor EV is anticipated to be powered by a single electric motor producing around 134 bhp and 200 Nm.
