The MG Windsor EV has been recently launched at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Windsor EV is the company’s third EV, following the ZS EV and Comet EV. However, it is the first to be offered under MG’s new Battery as a Service (BaaS) program, allowing a lower sticker price for the buyer. Customers would pay an additional ₹3.5 lakh for battery renting. Bookings will open on October 3, with delivery beginning October 12, 2024.

Many features will be available for the MG Windsor EV, such as an electrically operated tailgate, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree surround view camera, six-way electrically adjustable driver seat and four-way electrically adjustable passenger seat. The EV will also include flush-fitting door handles, large alloy wheels, integrated roof spoiler, LED headlights and LED taillights, among other features and styling elements.

The MG Windsor EV will be powered by a single electric motor that sends all of its power to the front wheels. It generates 200 Nm of torque and 134 bhp. With a 37.9 kWh battery pack, it should have a 331 km range. A  regular AC charger takes 7 hours to charge to 100%, but a DC fast charger takes just over 30 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%.
