MG Motor India is gearing up to launch its luxury electric MPV, the Mifa 9, as part of its new premium retail network, MG Select. Following the launch of the Cyberster roadster, the Mifa 9 will be unveiled at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Show in January and is expected to hit the market in March 2025. The price is projected to start around Rs 65 lakh.

First showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo, the Mifa 9 is an all-electric vehicle offering a front-motor, front-wheel-drive layout powered by a 90kWh lithium battery. It delivers 245hp and 350Nm, with a claimed range of 430km on the WLTP cycle.

The Mifa 9 boasts impressive dimensions, measuring 5.2 meters in length, 2 meters in width, and 1.8 meters in height, making it larger than competitors like the Kia Carnival and Toyota Vellfire. The MPV offers spacious 7- and 8-seater configurations and comes equipped with premium features for a luxurious driving experience.

In terms of design, the Mifa 9 has a boxy appearance similar to other MPVs, although it does have several standout features. The nose is tall and upright, with a full-width LED lightbar. The headlights are positioned on the bumper and surrounded by a chrome garnish that wraps around the whole fascia in a U shape. The slab-sided profile receives more chrome detailing around the windows and door sills, while the rear receives vertical drop-down taillights joined by a light bar, with more chrome trim surrounding it and the bumper.
